Wedding FAQ

If location allows for it, we would love to meet with you.  We want to know who we are working with, just as you should want to know who you're hiring. 

A $500 deposit will reserve your date. About one week before your wedding we will contact you to discuss the timeline of your day and to finish the final touches on the details for your special day . 

The remaining balance of your package is due 30 days before the date.  We try to keep it easy and simple for you.

For weddings, we take the creative initiative in choosing the music based on what we filmed and the feeling of the day. For each song we use for a video, we need to purchase the music license for it. Many mainstream songs are not available to buy, but there are lots of awesome choices on websites for videographers like me. Make sure you are choosing a videographer who is buying music for your video LEGALLY!

With wedding videography it is very much a case of you get what you pay for. We pour many hours into our films, sometimes spending as much as two weeks in the editing phase for our higher-end films. We are also constantly upgrading our equipment so that we can offer the highest level in picture quality and creative shooting techniques. 

We take about $20K worth of equipment to each wedding we cover because we film on 2 highend cameras for a truly cinematic film, professionals light equipment for your reception and a 3-way sound recording. 

Many smaller suppliers have popped up recently producing cheaper quality work using older antiquated equipment only out to make a quick buck. With little to no experience and missing key moments or getting shaky or poorly composed shots. Choosing In Love Weddings is very much an investment in quality and piece of mind, knowing that nothing is being left to chance.

Absolutely! There will be no travel fee within a 75km radius (round trip = 150km in total) from Tamborine Mountain. 

Any km over 150km is billed at $1/km. 

If your event requires us to fly & stay, hotel accommodations may have to be covered. 

On our big day filled with love and celebration, we'd appreciate it if you could organize a meal for our hardworking team at the same time you're enjoying your feast. This way, we can all stay energized and make sure we don't miss a single special moment. Feel free to coordinate with your venue or caterer to make it happen seamlessly. Thanks a bunch!

It typically takes 4-12 weeks to receive the final video, depending on the complexity of the project and our current workload. We work as quickly as possible to ensure that you receive your video in a timely manner.

Yes, we can host your video on vimeo and can create your own little website page with your sneak preview video or highlight reel video on request. 

If requested, we’ll provide you with a link when your films are finished which you then can share with family & friends.

The optimal timing for booking is quite straightforward: as early as possible! Our booking lead times vary, spanning from as little as 2 weeks (yes, we accommodate last-minute bookings) to as long as 2 years. However, typically, most reservations are made approximately 12 months in advance. Keep in mind that sought-after dates tend to fill up rapidly! Therefore, once you've established your event date, it's highly advisable to promptly verify our availability and secure your booking.

All of our photographers and videographers utilize professional-grade camera bodies along with a variety of lenses and essential equipment. Our primary choice is Canon cameras, renowned for their precise color reproduction.

After your big day while you are enjoying being newlyweds and often off on your honeymoon, our editing team gets straight onto your images and footage captured by our shooters.

We always give each wedding our full attention so as not to sacrifice quality. Our turnaround time for your entire photography gallery is usually 3-4 weeks and video 2-3 months.

To secure your day and booking with us, a $500 booking payment is required at time of booking. The balance of your package is then due 1 month out from your wedding.
